The annual MTV Video Music Awards ceremony was held in New York City last night, recognizing the best music videos of the past year. Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion served as the host for the unconventional night.
Taylor Swift won the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, taking home two of the night’s top honors. The pop megastar won Video of the Year for her futuristic collaboration with Post Malone titled “Fortnight”. She also secured the Artist of the Year award, cementing her status atop the global music industry.
However, Swift wasn’t the only one celebrating wins. Rapper Eminem had a standout night, winning Best Hip-Hop for his cinematic “Houdini” video. R&B darling SZA also received an award, recognized for her emotional single “Snooze” in the Best R&B category.
