Speculation is swirling that music icons Céline Dion and Lady Gaga may set the stage ablaze with a special performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Acting French Sports Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra raised eyebrows with cryptic hints dropped on social media. Journalist Thierry Moreau also posted that the dynamic divas will treat audiences to a rendition of Édith Piaf’s timeless hit “La Vie en Rose”.

Lady Gaga was recently seen in the City of Light fueling further fervor. Fans captured video of the multi-talented megastar greeting admirers from her vehicle with sign language hearts. Her appearance comes after the Olympics itself teased an unnamed guest with an enigmatic video depicting a flag-draped figure tightening a metallic belt. “You haven’t seen anything yet,” the Games taunted online.

Céline Dion added to the intrigue by posting sunny selfies taken in Paris, where she expressed joy at being back. The photos come two years after suspending her Courage world tour to battle a rare neurological disorder. Stepping on stage in France could mark her highly anticipated comeback performance.

Should the duet rumors prove true, musical history could be in the making as two of the industry’s best-selling vocal powerhouses unite.
