Lady Gaga has been hard at work on her highly-anticipated seventh studio album and offered fans an exciting update recently. While in Venice for the premiere of her upcoming film “Joker: Folie à Deux”, Gaga shared on Instagram that the first single from the new album is slated for an October release.
Many noticed she had written “XX October: LG7 first single” on her schedule. This confirmation that new music is coming so soon had the Gaga fandom buzzing – intriguingly, she still keeps many of the sonic and thematic details under wraps.
However, we know production powerhouses like veteran hitmaker Andrew Watt and longtime collaborator BloodPop have been involved in the studio. Photos last fall showed the trio working diligently alongside vocal master Benjamin Rice.
At the “Chromatica Ball” film premiere, Gaga teased this new era aims to obliterate genre boundaries even more. While pushing artistic limits is her signature move, she promised fans will embrace her boundary- pushing heart no matter what.
