Ariana Grande lit up the 2024 Met Gala red carpet in a showstopping gown fit for a fairy princess. She wore a custom creation by fashion house Loewe featuring a flowing pleated white skirt and shimmering bodice. Grande’s look was complete with intricately designed 3D wings on her temples, handcrafted specifically for the event by her makeup artist Michael Anthony.
Grande has had a breakthrough year so far in 2024. In March she released her highly anticipated seventh studio album “Eternal Sunshine”, which debuted at number one on the charts. She has also been hard at work promoting the movie adaptation of “Wicked”, where she will play the iconic role of Glinda. Alongside her costar Cynthia Erivo, Grande has been wowing audiences at awards shows with color-coordinated ensembles representing their characters’ styles.
For the Met Gala, Grande and Erivo switched things up. While Erivo dressed to impress in a striking black gown with pink floral embroidery, Grande stayed true to form as Glinda in an angelic all-white look. Remarkably, this marked only Grande’s second appearance at the Met Gala.
