Lizzo wowed her fans once more at this year’s Met Gala with a showstopping floral couture gown and regal headpiece. The singer dazzled on the carpet with her botanical makeup done up in polka dots of pink, fuchsia and yellow.
This return to the Met Gala stage came after a challenging period for Lizzo last year. In 2023, she faced a wave of online criticism and even attempted to dismiss a sexual harassment lawsuit from her former background dancers. However, Lizzo proved she remains undeterred in her joy and passion for music.
Just one month before the gala, Lizzo shared a heartfelt message about feeling “dragged” down and expressing a desire to quit giving negativity attention. She clarified days later that she has no plans to quit making music, which brings her great joy.
Lizzo has become a regular and unforgettable fixture at the Met Gala, and for a very good reason.
