Adele has had to juggle her performance schedule once again for her Las Vegas residency shows. In an Instagram post on April 2nd, the singer announced that several postponed March dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace would be rescheduled for later in the year.
Ticket holders for the affected dates in March received emails with their new show times in October and November. Adele will take the stage on October 25th and 26th, followed by performances each weekend from November 1st through the 23rd. According to Adele, all other previously scheduled shows will go on as planned.
This is the latest change for the multiple award-winning artist’s residency in Las Vegas. In late February, Adele shared that she would need to delay the performances due to illness. An undisclosed ailment had impacted her voice, and on the doctor’s recommendations, she needed vocal rest. This forced the postponement of the final shows for March, with May and June dates still pending at that point.
In her announcement, Adele apologized for the inconvenience but explained she wanted to fully recover her voice before giving less than her best on stage. It seems her illness lingered longer than expected, necessitating these updated dates rolling into the fall. Fans will hopefully get to experience Adele’s powerful vocals once again when the shows go on this autumn in their newly scheduled windows.
