Bad Bunny is set to make an appearance on Drake’s upcoming eighth studio album. During his ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour stop in Los Angeles on August 13th, Drake revealed the exciting news to fans. He told the crowd that it had been around 6 years since he collaborated with Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, on a song. However, the two Latin music superstars have now teamed up for a new track that will feature on Drake’s forthcoming album.
Drake and Bad Bunny previously joined forces on the 2018 hit “Mia” from Bad Bunny’s debut album “X 100pre”. Bunny was actually in attendance at the Kia Forum concert when Drake broke the news of their new collaboration.
Drake has been continuously hinting that the untitled new album will be released very soon. During his show at Madison Square Garden in New York on July 26th, he told the audience he planned to drop it in about two weeks. This suggests the record could arrive any day.
Drake had also teased his fans about the new album during previous stops on his tour with 21 Savage titled “Her Loss”. At their first show in Chicago on July 5th, Drake shared that a new record was on the way for fans. Then in January, when they performed at the Apollo Theater, Drake mentioned he may release another album that year if he got bored.
It’s clear Drake is excited to unveil his next body of work, which will include the highly anticipated collaboration with Bad Bunny that fans have been waiting years to hear.
