Taylor Swift slyly changed the name of one of her songs, and fans think it’s another shot at an old rival. Swift had performed a mash-up of “thank You aimEe” and “Mean” during her tour stop in London back in June. She recently released a studio version of that live performance.

But she sneaked in and edited the song title – it was originally “thanK you aIMee” but is now “thank You aimEe”. If you hadn’t been told that, you might not even notice the change. However, the capital letters in the original spelled out “KIM”, and it was heavily speculated this song referenced Kim Kardashian. Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West, who goes by Ye, has had public feuds with Swift over the years.

Many fans were not slow to spot that the letters spell out “YE”, appearing to point to West rather than Kardashian. The rapper is still attempting to stop Swift’s recent album from topping the number one spot on the charts. Drama between the trio had started several years ago with controversial moments including West hijacking Swift’s MTV award speech.

Of course, die-hard Swifties are now reading into that very incremental change in title. For them, this is another case of how their idol continues to roast West years after their initial fights. Whether or not Swift herself confirmed who it is about, her fans believe she is still getting back at him through her sly lyrics and coded messages. In a way, it’s an endless source of conversation about their feud.
