Pop megastar Taylor Swift treated fans to an inside look at the making of her 11th studio album “The Tortured Poets Department” in a recent “Fortnight” challenge video uploaded to YouTube. Over two weeks, Swift had documented snippets from her time in recording studios and photo shoots for the album titled #ForAFortnightChallenge.
Soundtracked by the hit single “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, the compilation video offered a glimpse into Swift’s creative process. Clips showed her busy at work in the studio layering down vocal tracks and collaborating with Malone on their chart-topping duet.
In the caption, Swift reflected on the “fortnight” or two-week period spent creating the song from start to finish.
Collaborator Post Malone also shared insight into working with Swift, praising her “once in a lifetime” talents in a social media tribute. Their hit song “Fortnight” served as the album’s lead single and demonstrated Swift’s skill for “writer magic” and “melodies that stick.” With the musical memoir now shared, Swift writes a new chapter focused on future creative endeavors.
