Charli XCX and Troye Sivan thrilled fans with an unforgettable concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City this Monday. The Sweat Tour stop had various surprise appearances that electrified the lively crowd.
Addison Rae made a surprise entrance to perform her viral hit “Diet Pepsi” alongside Charli and Troye. Later, Lorde stunned fans by emerging to debut the “girl, so confusing” remix with Charli for the first time live.
Internet star Kelley Heyer also thrilled the audience with her famous “Apple” dance routine during Charli’s performance of the song. Special guest spots weren’t all though – Charli and Troye flawlessly traded stages every few songs for over two hours.
Queer sensibility permeated the tour thanks to Troye. Tracks like “My My My” and the encore routines paid homage to past icons while feeling fresh. The sold-out NYC date highlighted both artists’ peaks through unifying music.
