An anonymous bidder took destruction to shocking new heights at the Ellis County Wild Game Dinner last weekend. What was intended as a community fundraiser took a bizarre turn when a $4,000 signed Taylor Swift guitar met an unexpected demise.
Sources say the winning bid was placed without incident. But once the rare item was in hand, the man proceeded to pulverize the instrument on stage – hammer in hand – as guests looked on aghast. “Now take that busted thing and hang it up!” auctioneer Joe Bob remarked, cheering the unforeseen act.

Videos capturing the mayhem spread quickly, tagged with political hashtags. But the man declined interviews, leaving his reasons open to interpretation. Regardless of intent, the night’s goal of supporting local youth programs was not deterred.
