Lorde’s back in the lab, whipping up some new tunes! The NZ queen shared on her Instagram a very captivating sneak peek at what she’s been working on lately in the studio.
Brief video clip with some interesting instrumentals of skittering percussion paired with a lingering synth line. Definite sound shift here on the part of our girl since her last album, “Solar Power.” It seems to be bid day to indie-folk vibes, as she takes a turn into electronic music this time.
Well, who has she been working with to bring about this new sound? The posts tell us that she has been working with none other than the Grammy-nominated producer Jim-E Stack. He has produced heavyweight artists such as Bon Iver and Charli XCX.
Sadly, the teaser was excruciatingly only a second long! But don’t worry; worry-free, fans, it doesn’t seem like we’ll need to wait that long at all.
