Hold onto your hats, Shady fans, because things are about to get wild! Eminem just dropped a cryptic teaser for his highly anticipated album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), and it’s got everyone scratching their heads.
The rap icon took to Instagram on Monday, sharing a screenshot of a text message from a mysterious contact named “All Contacts” – a rabbit wearing a top hat, no less! The message simply reads, “And for my last trick!” before vanishing at midnight on May 31st, leaving fans in a state of utter bewilderment.
Earlier this year, the rap icon dropped a cryptic “true crime” style teaser addressing the alleged demise of his infamous Slim Shady persona. The chilling clip ended with Eminem himself declaring “it was only a matter of time.”
Producer legend Dr. Dre fueled the fire recently in an unexpected TV appearance. Confirming to Jimmy Kimmel that Eminem had another album in the works, Dre promised “fire” beats of his own and said he’d hear the full project within days. All signs point to a massive release on the horizon.
Fans have has also noted frequent sightings of longtime collaborator 50 Cent, who appeared in the “Death of Slim Shady” trailer. His potential return would make this Eminem’s first album with Fiddy’s involvement in over a decade.
As the countdown to the end of May draws near, the online detectives are working overtime to decode every detail. Stay tuned for the big unveiling on the 31st.
