Staying true to her iconic style, Mitchell also sported her signature blonde braids held back by a chic black beret. She finished the look with a statement beaded necklace featuring emerald stones and a cane with an ornate tiger head decorated in diamonds.

Fans online were quick to praise Mitchell’s elegant outfit choice, with some noting its blend of elegance and edginess. Her cane in particular caught many eyes, with some commenting on its potential for wizardly abilities. Others were moved by her soulful performance after her well-publicized health struggles in recent years.

In the audience, stars like Meryl Streep could be seen becoming visibly emotional while taking in Mitchell’s beautiful rendition of the classic song. It was a touching moment for the legendary singer to make her Grammys debut on such a major stage after everything she’s overcome.

While Mitchell’s performance clearly left an impact, she has always exuded a unique style all her own. Even at 80 years old, she proves her grace and brilliance as both an artist and a fashion icon continue to inspire new generations of fans.
