Pop star Selena Gomez used her platform on Instagram to shut down the latest baseless rumor circulating about her love life. A fan had posted a claim that Gomez had dated John F. Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, between 2020 and 2021.
Gomez took to the comments to shoot down the speculation. “Never met this human sorry,” she wrote succinctly. The supposed “relationship” appeared to stem from a friendly Instagram like Schlossberg had given to one of Gomez’s posts promoting the voter registration initiative When We All Vote.
While dating rumors may come with the territory of fame, sources say Gomez’s heart currently belongs elsewhere. The actress and singer has been in a loving and committed partnership with music producer Benny Blanco for over a year now.
Despite challenging scheduling with their respective careers often taking them to opposite sides of the country, an insider shared that Gomez and Blanco make their long-distance relationship work through mutual care, respect, and communication. “Benny really understands Selena and makes her feel cherished in a way none of her past relationships did,” remarked the source.
