R&B royalty Usher took center stage during the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show, and he did not disappoint. Before a sold out crowd at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the iconic singer delivered an unforgettable career-spanning set that had everyone on their feet.
Kicking lit the stage with hit songs like “OMG” and “Love In This Club,” Usher showed right away he came to perform. The energy never let up as he blasted through classics such as “U Got It Bad” and “Bad Girl.” A highlight came when he briefly went shirtless during “U Got It Bad,” getting the massive crowd screaming.
Fans had eagerly speculated about potential guest appearances, and Usher seemed determined to top all expectations. Out walked the legendary Alicia Keys to join him on their smash collaboration “My Boo.” From there, the surprises kept coming with special performances alongside Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., will.i.am, Lil Jon, and Ludacris.
Ever the showman, Usher pulled out all the stops with multiple costume changes and flashy choreography. But the main attraction was undeniably his powerhouse vocals. By the time he closed out his medley with “Yeah!” alongside Lil Jon, it was clear this was one for the ages.
In a moving finale, Usher paid homage to his hometown of Atlanta. With his entire ensemble onstage, they stomped out “A-Town” while the marching band spelled out his name. It was the perfect cap to Usher’s dazzling retrospective that left the world talking and proved once more why he is simply one of the greatest performers of all time.
