Nicki Minaj recently revealed key details about her highly anticipated fifth studio album slated for release later this year. Titled “Pink Friday 2”, the album is set to drop on November 17th, 2023.

This comes after Minaj was originally forced to push back the album’s release date out of October, though she did not provide specifics on the reason for the delay. Nevertheless, fans now have a new date to look forward to for the sequel album to her breakthrough 2010 debut “Pink Friday”.

Beyond announcing the November release window, Minaj also revealed that she plans to embark on a global tour in support of the new project starting in early 2024. She assured listeners they “will love this album” and thanked her loyal fanbase, nicknamed the “Barbz”, for their continued support over the years.

While full track listing details are being kept under wraps for now, Minaj confirmed that Rihanna will make a guest appearance just as she did on the original “Pink Friday”. When asked directly about a Rihanna feature, Minaj responded cryptically that “pigs must be flying” all but cementing the pop icon’s involvement.

Nicki Minaj is clearly hyping up “Pink Friday 2” as an album poised to throw it back to her iconic earlier work while also pushing her artistry forward over a decade later. Fans won’t have to wait much longer to experience the highly anticipated sequel dropping this coming November.
