Taylor Swift had nothing but praise for her Scottish fans after three monumental shows at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium last weekend. The singer took to Instagram to thank over 220,000 total attendees for helping her break stadium attendance records in Scotland not once, but three nights in a row.
In a series of photos from the unforgettable performances, Swift gushed about the incredible energy in Edinburgh. “Thank you for breaking the all-time attendance record for a stadium show in Scotland 3 times in a row 🤯 and for all the ways you made us feel right at home,” Swift continued. “Love you, all 220,000 of you!!! 🤍”
Concertgoers certainly left just as energized as the star herself, based on some standout moments from the shows. During one performance, a lucky fan popped the question to their partner in the crowd, an amusing sight that caught even Swift by surprise.
Swift mixed up her setlists nightly with mashups of favorites like “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” blended with “I Know Places.” She also treated fans to melodic medleys pairing “’Tis the Damn Season” with “Daylight,” “The Archer” leading into “Getaway Car,” and “It’s Nice to Have a Friend” flowing seamlessly into “Dorothea.” Haunting transitions of “Haunted” and “Exile” had the stadium on its feet as well.
As Swift’s international Eras tour rolls on, her next destinations are Liverpool for three more shows this week. The city is decked out in Taylor celebration, with the mayor symbolically renaming it “Taylor Town” and local artists installing immersive album exhibition displays around town.
