Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had high praise for his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.
In a pre-game press conference, Kelce marveled at the “remarkable” physical and mental stamina Swift demonstrated during her nearly two-year Eras Tour. “To see that week in, week out, traveling from one country to the next, how excruciating it is on her body and her mind… her work ethic was pretty remarkable,” Kelce said.
The Chiefs are aiming to make history by winning their third consecutive Super Bowl title. Kelce said he “could admire” Swift’s commitment and “take a lot of notes” as he prepares for the big game.
During one of Swift’s tour stops in New Orleans last year, she appeared to “bless” the Caesars Superdome by performing one of Kelce’s signature dance moves and holding up three fingers, hinting at a potential “three-peat” for the Chiefs. Kelce acknowledged the gesture, saying, “We both, we love to manifest things. Whatever she was doing, I’m sure it helped.”
