Taylor Swift surprised fans at her Liverpool show by announcing the upcoming conclusion of her massively successful Eras Tour. Playing to a sold-out crowd at Anfield Stadium on June 13th, Swift reflected on the incredible journey of her record-breaking tour, which launched in March 2023.

Hitting the 100-show milestone, Swift admitted to the cheering crowd that acknowledging the tour’s end in December “feels so surreal.” She said, “I think that this tour has really become my entire life. Like, it’s taken over everything. ” Launching right after her acclaimed 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department, the Eras Tour has seen Swift transporting fans to a showcase of all her eras through a dynamically evolving production.

Spanning three continents over a year and counting, Swift said the tour “has definitely been exhausting but the most joyful experience of my life.” From packed stadiums in America to sold-out arenas worldwide, she praised fans for “making this so much fun” and pushing the tour past 150 confirmed dates so far. When she’s not onstage, Swift joked that her only hobby now is to “think of clever acoustic song mashups” for her acoustic set.

Wrapping up her heartfelt remarks, Taylor thanked fans for “every ounce of effort” to attend shows and support her journey. She revealed performing her iconic 10 minute “All Too Well” was extra special that night as the tour marches towards the finish line in December. While an exact end date has yet to be announced, currently the grand finale is set for December 8th in Vancouver – capping off what will go down as not just Swift’s biggest tour, but one of the highest-grossing of all time.
