Rising UK star Raye has announced an exciting collaboration with global superstars Doja Cat and BLACKPINK’s Lisa. The trio are set to release a new single next month that is expected to be a pop-infused hit, drawing on the artists’ combined fan bases across North America and Asia.
“It’s a huge deal for Raye,” a source told The Sun. “The song will really surprise fans and has more of a pop sound than anything Raye has done recently, but it’s great. Hopefully with both Lisa and Doja’s fans behind it, the single will really make waves around the world.”
Raye’s breakthrough success with her 2024 smash “Escapism” has propelled her to new heights, and this high-profile team-up is poised to take her career to the next level. While the 27-year-old recently faced a setback when her car was stolen, containing crucial materials for her upcoming second album, Raye remains undeterred.
“When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade,” she told Variety. “I will relentlessly pursue creating music that I love.”
