Normani Kordei has been working towards her debut studio album for several years. Once part of the group Fifth Harmony, she found success in collaborations with artists like Khalid and Sam Smith after the group went on a hiatus. However, after releasing songs in 2020 and 2021, Normani went complete silent on her career.

Until very recently where she shared the title and artwork for her upcoming first solo project – an album called Dopamine. Additional details about the release were sparse at that point. And now she has blessed us with the lead single “1:59” which features rapper Gunna.

1:59″ is available for fans to enjoy everywhere. Normani also revealed Dopamine will be released on June 14th. This provides her debut release date and signals she is ready to fully introduce her solo artistry with a complete studio album this summer, after years of anticipation from supporters.
