The Hot Girl Summer Tour rolled into Atlanta on Sunday night after unfortunate cancelations due to plumbing problems left fans in the city disappointed last weekend. But Megan Thee Stallion had an incredible surprise in store for the devoted crowd packed into State Farm Arena – the reveal of her upcoming sophomore studio album.

In a special announcement that sent the cheering audience into a frenzy, Meg disclosed that the LP will be called “MEGAN” and arrive on June 28th. Attendees were then treated to a preview of what’s to come as screens displayed a striking album image and QR code inviting all to pre-save the Hot Girl Productions release.

Megan has hinted that “MEGAN” will exhibit a fresh evolution for the Houston rapper following last year’s highly-publicized legal battle with Tory Lanez. She described the project as a “rebirth” that remains authentically hers while touching on new sounds.

Three slick singles have so far teased the album’s serpent-inspired theme – the chart-topping “HISS,” swaggering “COBRA” and the nostalgic Gwen Stefani sample “BOA.” Meg currently has two songs in the Hot 100 thanks to the rising popularity of “Wanna Be” with breakout star GloRilla and the lingering success of “BOA.”
