The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has announced that comedic legend Carol Burnett will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 49th Annual Gracie Awards Gala. The event, scheduled for May 21st at the luxurious Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, will pay homage to Burnett’s groundbreaking career and multigenerational impact on the entertainment industry.
Presenting the award to her Palm Royale co-star will be acclaimed actress Kristen Wiig. Multi-talented singer-songwriter Rachel Platten will perform during the celebratory evening.
Additional notable attendees include legendary journalist and activist Maria Shriver, best-selling authors Glennon Doyle and Abby Wambach, WNBA star Candace Parker, journalist Natalie Morales, comedian Sheryl Underwood, and actresses Yvette Nicole Brown and Mayan Lopez.
Hosting the awards ceremony will be actress and talk show host Tamera Mowry-Housley. Digital ambassador duties will be handled by young star Raegan Revord.
