The first week of 2025 brings significant news in the music industry as Lady Gaga achieves another career milestone. Her collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile,” has reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The achievement was announced shortly after Gaga took to social media to thank her supporters. During a TikTok video posted January 7, the singer spoke about joining an exclusive group of artists who have topped the charts in three different decades – a distinction previously held only by Janet and Michael Jackson.
The song, which debuted last August, has shown impressive staying power. Before climbing to the top of the Hot 100, it dominated the Billboard Global 200 for two months. This latest success adds to Gaga’s impressive tally of six No. 1 hits on the Hot 100.
On her Instagram account, Gaga shared a casual photo and expressed gratitude to both her and Mars’ fan communities for their support. The song will be included in her seventh studio album, due for release next month. The project, which already features the October-released single “Disease,” has generated considerable interest among music enthusiasts.
