Chappell Roan has been named the top emerging artist in the BBC Radio 1 Sound of 2025 poll. The 26-year-old pop artist was selected by a panel of more than 180 music industry professionals and artists.

The recognition comes on the heels of a breakthrough year for Roan, who has quickly become a standout name in the music scene. Her single “Good Luck, Babe!” made waves by reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September, months after its initial release. Her impressive run includes six Grammy nominations across major categories and a top new artist award at the Billboard Music Awards.

The artist is set to headline major music festivals in 2025, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Reading & Leeds Festival. She’ll share stages with prominent artists like Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Hozier.
