Fans were buzzing online as BLACKPINK vocalist Rosé revealed she will be releasing her first full-length solo album in December. In a post on Instagram, the special K-pop idol shared the news saying, “I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine.“
Titled ‘rosie’ after the name her loved ones call her, the album is scheduled to drop on December 6th. “Rosie – is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me. And yes, it’s a full length album. December 6th,” the singer stated in her post.
Rosé went on to open up about the process, mentioning “a year of walking in and out of the studio, writing songs with songwriters and producers I’d met for the first time, trying to figure out the next chapter in my career. I fell asleep many nights feeling confused and lost.”
Fans quickly expressed excitement online, commenting this is what they’ve been waiting for. Pre-orders are now available on her website which offer an exclusive CD package and standard edition.
Since her successful 2021 solo debut mini album ‘R’, Rosé has signed with Atlantic Records. The artist is said to be teaming up with an array of hitmakers for her new full-length project.
