Spotify’s year-end statistics reveal that Billie Eilish has captured the top streaming position for 2024 with her song “Birds of a Feather.” According to Interscope’s January 2 announcement, the track reached 1.781 billion streams, overtaking previous frontrunners Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” (1.778 billion streams) and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things.”
The song, released as part of Eilish’s third album Hit Me Hard and Soft, has been a consistent chart performer. It reached number two on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200. The track gained additional momentum following the release of its music video in September, directed by Aidan Zamiri, which featured supernatural elements. Eilish also promoted the song with a performance on Saturday Night Live in October.
The nine-time Grammy winner recently completed the North American section of her tour, ending with five shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on December 21. Her tour schedule continues in 2025, with Australian dates set for February and March, followed by European performances starting in April.
