Audius is ringing in the new year with a significant boost to its licensing capabilities. The company just announced a multi-territory agreement with ICE, a leading music licensing hub, marking a major step in its ongoing expansion.
This latest partnership will funnel royalties to over 330,000 rights holders worldwide, ensuring creators are compensated for their music’s use on the Audius platform. The deal underscores Audius’s commitment to fair compensation and sustainable growth within the music industry.
This isn’t Audius’s first major licensing coup this year. The platform has already secured deals with prominent players such as Kobalt, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and GMR, steadily expanding its network of licensing partners and solidifying its position in the digital music landscape.
Tim Rawlinson, ICE’s VP of Licensing, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting Audius’s unique ability to connect artists and fans while simultaneously creating new revenue streams.
