A playful online exchange between Nick Jonas and Elon Musk has sparked conversation and speculation. It began when Musk retweeted a Tesla Owners Silicon Valley post boasting a 100% increase in Tesla’s value since Donald Trump’s 2024 election win. Musk’s response, “My, how the tables have turned!”, included a GIF of Nick and Kevin Jonas rotating a coffee table, a moment taken from an old Jonas Brothers video where Joe Jonas enters saying the same phrase.
Nick Jonas then responded to Musk’s tweet with a picture of a smirking Musk and the caption, “Take us to the Year 3000,” referencing a Jonas Brothers song. Given Musk’s controversial status and his association with President-elect Trump, some fans interpreted Jonas’s tweet as an endorsement of both Musk and Trump. This led to a flurry of comments, some expressing concern and disappointment, while others tagged Jonas’s wife, Priyanka Chopra, urging her to intervene.
While Jonas’s representatives have been contacted for clarification, the singer is currently busy with various projects. He’s set to star in the Broadway production of “The Last Five Years” and recently appeared in the film “The Good Half,” now streaming on Hulu.
