Brace yourselves for a jolly surprise: South Korean superstar V of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS is set to join forces with the legendary Bing Crosby for a reimagined rendition of the timeless Christmas classic, “White Christmas.”

This unprecedented partnership, facilitated by Crosby’s estate, Primary Wave Music, and Geffen Records, is slated for release on December 6, just in time to spread holiday cheer.

For V, this collaboration holds a deeply personal significance, as the 28-year-old singer has long harbored an admiration for Crosby’s artistry. “I’m so grateful to have had a chance to be featured in a song with my all-time favourite jazz artiste Bing Crosby,” V expressed on social media. “I grew up listening to his song It’s Been A Long, Long Time countless times a day, and I feel incredibly fortunate and honoured to have sung along on White Christmas with the voice of someone I consider an idol.”

This posthumous collaboration marks a historic moment for Crosby, as it will be his first in an astonishing 47 years since his iconic duet with the late English singer David Bowie on the Christmas song “Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy” in 1977.

“White Christmas” has become a global phenomenon, transcending generations and cultures with its timeless charm. It has been covered by a multitude of renowned artists, including Michael Bublé, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry, but this unique interpretation promises to be truly extraordinary.
