Investigation Discovery is shining a light on the troubling accusations against singer Chris Brown in their upcoming documentary “Chris Brown: A History of Violence”. Scheduled to premiere on October 27th as part of the network’s campaign against domestic violence, this film vows to deliver new insights into the numerous abuse allegations spanning Brown’s entire career.

Featured are interviews with women who claim to have suffered at the hands of Brown over the years. Viewers will gain an inside look at harrowing accounts ranging from physical assault to sexual abuse. Most prominent will be the story of Rihanna, who publicly battled the psychological and physical scars left by Brown’s vicious attack in 2009.

In addition, a newly courageous accuser is ready to break their anonymity to share their experience with Brown’s alleged dark side. “I have not spoken about this matter publicly, but that’s the only way he can be stopped,” they declare in a teaser for the documentary.

Analysing more than just survivor testimonies, experts in the field of abuse cycles are called upon to dissect Brown’s disturbing pattern of behavior. They aim to understand how someone with such a violent past has faced such little real accountability. The special also examines Brown’s traumatic upbringing and its possible links to his present conduct.
