Ticketmaster has joined forces with Tickets for Good (TfG) to provide free tickets to healthcare, education, and charity workers in both the United Kingdom and United States.
Founded in 2019, TfG strives to make live events accessible through discounted or complimentary tickets. They partner with organizers to distribute seats for booking fees under £5 in the UK and $5 in America. Since launching, over 750,000 tickets have been facilitated through alliances like musicians Robbie Williams and Yungblud.
By linking with Ticketmaster, event planners can effortlessly donate an allotment through the platform’s infrastructure. This allows groups to give back while minimizing logistical challenges. TfG currently aids those in Atlanta like the Falcons, United, and Blue Man Group through existing collaborations.
The partnership aims to acknowledge individuals dedicating themselves amid difficult times. Soaring costs have exacerbated economic hardship, so this provides a welcome respite. National Health Service employees, charity workers, and crisis-impacted people will receive recognition.
By expanding the network internationally, more opportunities open up to spread joy. Leaders Dan Armstrong and Steve Rimmer see the potential for increased social impact at scale leveraging both networks. Rimmer says combining strengths can unlock new ways of community support through live entertainment access.
Robbie Williams, who advocates for the arts, expresses enthusiasm. “The magic of live entertainment is something everyone should be able to benefit from; so, I’m thrilled to be working with Tickets for Good,” he notes. The expanding alliance signals both companies doubling down on their missions of inclusion through the power of joint resources.
