Popster continues advancing its platform capabilities with new artificial intelligence features and a remix function. Founded by Themis Drakonakis and Sotiris Kaniras, Popster provides a full-service creation suite for artists and aims to foster collaboration within its growing community.
The latest upgrade enhances Popster’s beat generation with additional music genres and mood options for composers. Leveraging its partnership with audio library Mubert, the application ensures users have uncomplicated access to high-quality instrumentals. This builds upon Popster’s existing AI that minimizes background noise in recordings.
Visual creators now benefit from “Albums,” an image generator driven by natural language prompts. With a simple word or phrase, the tool produces cover art concepts tailored to each work. This aids distribution by allowing artists to professionally brand new releases for promotional use.
Social interaction is also improved through “Mashup,” a feature complementing technologies like TikTok’s duet mode. Users can seamlessly combine their recordings with others to explore multi-track performances. Such cooperation cultivates musical partnerships and follows Popster’s vision of placing AI as a supportive ally rather than a replacement for human creativity.
Though still in its initial scale-up phase, Popster shows promise as an all-in-one production hub. CEO Drakonakis notes high customer engagement of over 90 minutes per daily session on average. Additional monetization strategies and a pre-seed funding round totaling $280,000 position the company for continued growth across both userbase and team size.
