JT was seen being escorted across the bridge from lockup to justice court by officers the next day. The usually polished pop star appeared disheveled and tense as he stared straight ahead during the walk of shame. After a brief court appearance where he received a one year driver’s license suspension in NY, the singer was released without bail. He exited wearing a baseball cap, no doubt hoping not to draw attention on his way out.
Sources say Timberlake had been partying hard with pals at The American Hotel bar prior to the bust. At nearly 12:30 AM, the clearly inebriated star attempted to drive off in his luxury BMW X7 SUV. One onlooker told the Post they witnessed JT engaging in some seriously sloshed behavior, even helping himself to a drink left unattended at another table! When confronted, the singer was said to be “wasted.”
Police reports reveal JT blew past a stop sign on his way out and was weaving across the road before officers pulled him over. With bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and struggling to walk a straight line, the father of two failed sobriety tests. He also refused a breathalyzer back at the station. Charged with DUI, running signs and failure to maintain lane, Timberlake is due back in court later this month to face the consequences.
