Ariana Grande was spotted cheering on her home state team this weekend with a special someone by her side. Grande, originally from Florida, brought boyfriend Ethan Slater to Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final in Tampa on Saturday night.
Photos from the rowdy game show Grande and Slater immersed in Panthers gear as they watched the hometown team take on the Edmonton Oilers. Grande topped off her jersey with a fun pair of cat ear accessories, clearly representing her beloved Panthers. Throughout the match, the couple could be seen lost in conversation, giggling and leaning in close as they bonded over the action on the ice.
Spotted with Grande and Slater was her longtime friend Courtney Chipolone, who shared an eyebrow-raising lyric mention in Ariana’s hit “Thank U, Next.” Also in their group was Christian Breslauer, the director behind several of Grande’s chart-topping music videos this year.
Grande and Slater first connected while starring alongside one another in the London production of Wicked last year. Since then, they’ve quietly nurtured their romance away from the spotlight. In April, Slater was supported by Grande at his final Broadway performance of Spamalot before their roles switch.
