Clairo is back, and she’s bringing the charm! The singer-songwriter has announced her highly anticipated third album, Charm, set to drop on July 12th. This time, Clairo is venturing out on her own, releasing the album under her newly established label, Clairo Records.
As a leading single, “Sexy to Someone” drops with an infectious beat and enticing layers that hint at the album’s vibrant direction.
Charm marks a new chapter for Clairo, who has been steadily building towards this moment. Last year, she graced Spotify’s Live at Electric Lady series with reimagined versions of her previous hits. She also collaborated with a stellar lineup, including boygenius, Bartees Strange, and Dijon, for the inaugural RE:Set concert tour.
The album’s production is a collaboration with Leon Michels, known for his work with the Dap-Kings and El Michels Affair. Charm was recorded live to tape with a full ensemble of musicians, creating a rich and immersive sonic experience.
