While serving his mandatory military duty, BTS leader RM, also known as Kim Nam-joon, has gifted fans with a new solo single titled “Come Back To Me.” Since its release on May 10th, the track has topped music charts in over 80 countries, demonstrating that fans have not forgotten about RM during his service.

“Come Back To Me” is the lead single from RM’s upcoming sophomore solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person,” set for release on May 24th. Produced in collaboration with indie band Hyukoh and Sunset Rollercoaster, the song explores RM’s feeling of wanting familiarity while also desiring new challenges.

The deeply personal track has already amassed over 8 million views for its music video directed by Emmy winner Lee Sung-jin. RM was heavily involved in filming several music videos prior to enlisting in December.

Fans worldwide have shown overwhelming support, proving that while the members serve their time, BTS and its leaders like RM remain beloved. The group is set to reconvene in 2025 after all seven complete their mandatory service.
