Taylor Swift wrapped up her second concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina by changing the lyrics to her song “Karma” to call out tight end Travis Kelce, who was in attendance. She sang “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me” in reference to the NFL star, who took time during his team’s bye week to fly down to Argentina and watch Swift perform.
Kelce watched the entire show from the VIP section along with Swift’s father, Scott Swift. Videos online showed Kelce dancing, eating snacks, and flashing Swift’s signature heart hand signal throughout the concert. After taking her final bow, Swift was even seen giving Kelce a kiss in a video posted on social media.
Addressing the cheering Argentine fans, Swift spoke about her mission to reclaim her own music catalog. She expressed disbelief that one of her unreleased songs from 1989 managed to reach #1 on the charts thanks to their support. Later during her “Evermore” songs, Swift celebrated her recent Grammy nominations for “Midnights,” dancing joyously on stage.
By all accounts, it seemed to be another electrifying show for Swift and her legions of loyal Swifties in Buenos Aires. By the end of the night, even Kelce seemed awe-struck by the spectacle of a Taylor Swift show. His South American football vacation had taken an unforgettable turn, thanks to a one-of-a-kind interaction with the megastar herself. It will surely be a story Kelce brings up for years to come.
