Right after the release of his country debut album, F-1 Trillion, global pop sensation Taylor Swift came to praise Post Malone and his versatility as an artist. Swift took to Instagram to share her thoughts about the album that Malone played for her while they were on the “Fortnight” music video set.
Earlier this year, Swift and Malone teamed up for “Fortnight,” the first single from Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department. In the quirky music video, Malone’s tattoos somehow magically appeared on Swift’s face. Flashback scenes revealed both singers, before they earned both fame and body art. Swift obviously is a fan of Malone’s artistry and personality, as evidenced by her rave review of his eclectic country outing.
In her Instagram story, Swift complimented Malone: “Was lucky enough to hear this amazing music on set of the ‘fortnight’ video when Austin played it for me,” The link to streaming platforms to listen to F-1 Trillion was also attached.
F-1 Trillion finds Malone embracing his country roots, having spent a solid chunk of time in Nashville co-writing with some of the biggest country songwriters and artists. The album boasts friendly cameos from many big-name stars, including Luke Combs, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams Jr. and Chris Stapleton. Two of Malone’s collaborations — “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen and “Pour Me a Drink” with Blake Shelton — proved to be charting efforts.
