Nicki Minaj made a long-anticipated return last year with the release of Pink Friday 2, her first full studio album in five years. It followed up with her breakout debut Pink Friday back in 2010, really setting her up within the mainstream with all her collaborative hits alongside artists like Eminem, Rihanna, and Drake.

On Pink Friday 2, she returned with the trend of swiping pieces from super famous songs in the past. These include “Barbie Dangerous,” which sampled Notorious B.I.G.’s song, and “Super Freaky Girl,” which borrows from Rick James.

This certainly fired an impetus on Minaj as the album received a rapt reception from the fans. In a declaration in social media, she announced her intention to release the deluxe version of the album with additional tracks. Though no concrete date for releasing the deluxe edition was given, she revealed that she would perform two or three of these songs during her upcoming world tour.

It seems like the most passionate fans of Minaj are going to get a little more new music before she embarks on an international run. Details on what exactly the deluxe album will contain and when it arrives remain unclear at this point, but another treat is in store for fans from this legendary rapper.
