Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 23rd was full of epic celebrity appearances. First, NFL superstar Travis Kelce shocked fans with a cameo performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” just before kickoff. But Swifties got another major treat when rising singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams joined Taylor on stage for the live debut of their hit duet “Us.”

Abrams dished all the details from her tour experience in a recent interview with SiriusXM. And get this – Kelce actually gave her an adorably cheeky pep talk just before their performances! “Before we both went on, we were in the tent, and he was like — he went on right before I did, like, I think two songs or something. He’s like, ‘I’ll mess up so you look really good'”

Clearly the Eras Tour is all about uplifting other artists. Abrams went on, “The thing is, is it’s just a community of really supportive people. Truly, everyone, whether you’re in the tent or in the top row in the stadium, it’s like everyone is there because there is such deep joy and feeling associated with all of the music that she’s put out over the past 18 years and it’s like, I don’t know. It’s a really magical thing.”

“Us” appears on Abrams’ major label sophomore album The Secret of Us, which she released just days prior. Fun fact – she and Taylor actually wrote the hit song together, but their session nearly ended in disaster when a candle lit kitchen fire! Thankfully Swift saved the day with a handy fire extinguisher.

In addition to opening select dates for Swift this summer, the 24-year-old Abrams is now headlining her own North American tour kicking off September 5th in Portland.
