Amazon Music has announced the lineup for the second season of their popular concert series Amazon Music Live. Kicking things off later this month will be a performance from Grammy award-winning artist Ed Sheeran on September 21st, ahead of the release of his highly anticipated new album “Autumn Variations”.
Following Sheeran will be shows from Colombian singer Feid on September 28th and American rapper Lil Durk on October 5th, showcasing artists across various genres. The livestreamed concerts will once again take place in Los Angeles after Thursday Night Football games, which Amazon holds the broadcast rights for through 2032.
2 Chainz is set to return as host for the invitation-only events, with tickets being distributed through DICE. Each performance will air live on both Amazon’s Twitch channel and Prime Video starting at 9pm PT. Fans can tune into a pre-show on Twitch an hour earlier for interviews and surprises. Additionally, the concerts will include live American Sign Language interpretation.
Addressing the exciting lineup, Amazon Music’s General Manager Ryan Redington expressed their goal of bringing together sports and music fans every Thursday night. He stated that Amazon Music Live has become “a massive new stage for artists” and this season they aim to take things even bigger.
With expanded deals between the NFL and entertainment companies like ESPN, Ntertain Studios and Neon16, it’s clear that music continues to play a vital role in football broadcasts and events. Amazon Music looks to capitalize on this synergy with another season of can’t-miss live performances.
