Apple has significantly expanded its premium audio offerings with the addition of over 100 new podcasts available through top subscription services on its Podcasts app. Subscribers to platforms like Apple Music, Apple News+, Calm, and Lingokids will now be able to access exclusive shows directly in Podcasts.

This marks a major move by Apple into high-quality on-demand audio content beyond just traditional podcasts. The new podcasts include over 2,500 episodes from Apple Music Radio, as well as narrated news briefings, meditation guides, children’s audiobooks, and more. Subscribers can simply sign in to their existing accounts to browse, subscribe and download this expanded library of audio programs all in one central place.

Apple Music is home to hundreds of original shows featuring the world’s top artists and tastemakers, and our listeners love them” said Apple Vice President Rachel Newman. “There is truly something for everyone, which is why we’re excited to make it all available on Apple Podcasts, so subscribers can follow their favorites, save episodes to their library, get notified when new episodes are released, and listen offline across their devices.

Top brands like Bloomberg, The Economist, The Times and The Washington Post will also be contributing exclusive shows starting next month. Apple Music in particular is a major content contributor, bringing hit radio shows and interviews with today’s biggest artists.

With this launch, Apple Podcasts is cementing its position as the leading destination for all types of professionally produced on-demand audio – far beyond just third-party podcasts. By leveraging popular subscriptions, it’s creating the most comprehensive premium listening experience in one central hub.
